Bago Region CM oversees rural developmental tasks in Yedashe

Chief Minister of Bago Region U Win Thein made a field trip to Yedashe Township to inspect progress of rural developmental tasks on November 22.
    

The chief minister and his entourage first looked into construction of a transformer in Ohnpingway Village in Kyeyinepyin Village-tract and called site officials for timely completion of the project ahead of the schedule.


They also inspected progress of a reinforced concrete bridge measuring 40 ft. in length and 16 ft. in width on the Yedashe-Myet Hnar Pyin-OhnpinGway road and another rural bridge. The two rural facilities are being built by the local government at a cost of Ks 90 million allotted in the fiscal year 2019-2020. The chief minister also inspected a site chosen for construction of a rural road and availability of electricity in six villages.


They paid homage to three abbots from the village’s monasteries and donated offertories to them.
