An activity to set fire to confiscated food, drug and cosmetics was held in Taguthein dump in Dawei, Taninthayi Region this morning.
Regional Minister for Social and Municipal Affairs U Ho Pin, officials from regional department of Food and Drug Administration, department of Consumer Affairs and departmental personnel destroyed the restricted and expired food, drug and cosmetics.
The items worth K 6562335.16 were seized by members of Regional Food and Drug Administration Committee during inspection in the region, according to Dawei District Information and Public Relations Department.
