With a view to facilitating public transportation, the construction work of concrete road on Pokkul Road in Nanpunpun Ward in the Town of Mabein, Shan State (North) was started on 18 May.
Under the close supervision of U Win Myat Kyaw, executive officer and U Tun Maung Khaing, junior engineer-2 of the Township Development Committee, a concrete road measuring 375 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in thickness is being constructed with Ks. 9.75 million allotted by regional government in 2022-2023 FY.
Once completion, it will facilitate public transportation and improve living standard of local people in the Town.—Myo Min (IPRD)
