Construction works of rural roads in Wuntho Township completed 75%

With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, the Township Department of Rural Development is implementing rural development projects in seven Villages in Wuntho Township, Sagaing Region, and all the projects have been completed 75 percent so far, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

 

Rural Development projects including construction of rural road, upgrade of rural road and digging well are being implementing in Chanmyathidar, Theindaw, Pannyo, Satthwa Village, Gwaygone Village and Aungzarnigon Village in the Township.

 

Now, the construction works of development projects in Thindaw, Pannyo and Tonekyeik Villages have been completed by 100 percent. In addition, construction works of development projects in Gwaygon Village have been completed 90 percent, construction works of development projects in Chanmyathida Village have been completed 80 percent, construction works Satthwakyi Village completed 50 percent and construction works in Aungzarnigon Village completed by 25 percent respectively.

 

The development projects are being constructed with Ks 12.6 million allotted by regional government. Once completed, they will benefit 2103 rural people from 492 households in the villages, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Min Myint Mor(DRD)
