COVID-19 medical supplies imported from China arrive in Yangon, Mandalay

Medical equipment for COVID-19 prevention imported from China and to be used in the 2020 General Election arrived at Yangon and Mandalay international airports by special flights on 23 and 24 October.


These devices will be distributed to voters, polling station staff and volunteers during the elections.


Up to 24 October, 9,954,800 KN95 masks, 500,000 protective face masks, 92,000 sets of PPE medical protective clothing, 15,900 boots, 600,000 face shields and 200,000 surgical gloves have been imported.


Special flights for more stocks of COVID-19 medical supplies will land at Yangon and Mandalay international airports from 25 October to 3 November.
