Dave Leduc ranks first in Lethwei Cruiserweight: WLC

Canadian Lethwei Fighter Dave Leduc is currently standing first amidst the Cruiserweight fighters of the Myanma Lethwei in WLC- World Lethwei Championship Rankings according to the WLC announcement on 13 October.


The 28-years-old fighter has won Myanmar’s former Lethwei Champion Tun Tun Min to claim the Cruiserweight World Champion in Air KBZ Aung Lan Championship 2016 and also possessed undefeated record in the Myanmar Lethwei history. Not only in Myanmar but the defending WLC Cruiserweight champion took victory in Japan.


Dave defended his championship title for the first time against veteran Lethwei fighter Phoe Kay in the special Lethwei event organized by the International Lethwei Federation of Japan headlined “Lethwei in Japan 2” at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan on 16 February 2017.


Next, Dave Leduc successfully defended his championship belt again in 2018 Air KBZ Grand Final Myanmar Championship by fighting a draw match against former champion Tun Tun Min on 12 December 2018.


Dave was also nominated as 2019 Best Sports Programme Winner headlined at World Lethwei Championship.


Next, in the Middleweight class of WLC, Uzbekistan Lethwei fighter Naimjon Tuhtaboyev was ranked first while Myanmar’s Too Too was ranked second, according to the WLC.
