The Department of Social Welfare under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement is providing cash aids to disabled people during COVID-19 pandemic. In Gangaw Township, officials made a domiciliary visit to provide cash aids to disabled people in Myintha village yesterday.
Under the arrangement of Township Committee for COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment, village administrator and an official provided K 990,000 of cash aids to 33 disabled people at a rate of K 30,000 per person.
In the township, there are a total of 376 disabled people and they were provided with cash aids by the respective village administrators and officials.
