Opening ceremony of Hinthada District Administration Council chairman’s Cup inter-Township U-19 Men’s football Tournament was held at the township football ground in Uyin Ward in the town of Hinthada, Ayeyawady Region on 16 May at about 7:00 am.
First, respective football teams from six Townships in Hinthada District took position and saluted Chairman of the District Administration Council. Afterwards, Chairman of the District Administration Council U Myint Than Win delivered an opening speech and cordially greeted the players.
Chairman of the District Administration Council U Myint Than Win, member-1 of the District Administration Council Colonel Nay Lin Aung, Police Major Nay Win, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Chan Nyein Aung and members, the District sports Director U Kyaw Thant and staff and departmental officials attended the tournament and watched the competition of Myanaung football team and Zalun football team.—Ko Zaw (Hinthada)
