Drinking Water donated to rural people in Hsi Hseng Tsp.

Some villages in Hsi Sheng Township, the Pa'O Self-Administered Zone, Shan State (South) suffered from scarcity of drinking water due to extreme hot weather as the dry season set in.

 

As part of efforts to help the difficulties of rural people in the township, personnel from the township Department of Rural Development paid a domiciliary visit to provide drinking water to the affected people in Htihanhtwaing Village yesterday and provided 2400 gallons of drinking water to 180 people from 35 households in the Village.

 

Donors, identified as U Ye Myint, owner of hardware shop donated 800 gallons and the township Department of Rural Development donated 1600 gallons of drinking water to rural people in the township.—Khun Ye Htway (Hsi Hseng)
