Kyaukse, 18 November
Fire broke out in Pintale Village in Kyaukse Township, Mandalay Region at about 1:00 pm on 18 November.
The fire was thought to have started from overheated wire installed in the home of U Aung Myint in the village.
15 firefighters led by Assistant Director U Zin Tun from the township Fire Service Department rushed to the scene to put out the fire in collaboration with 10 auxiliary firefighters and locals using two fire engines and the blaze was totally extinguished at about 1:10 pm.
Fire totally destroyed the house, causing a loss of K 220000. But no casualties were reported. Authorities filed a case against U Aung Myint for his negligence.—Thet Maung(Kyaukse)
