Fourth community fever clinic opens to public in Myeik

As part of efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, a community fever clinic was opened in front of Myothit B.E.H.S in Myeik, Tanintharyi Region on 26 May.

The facility was launched by the Myanmar Medical Association in Myeik Township and the local government in order to provide free healthcare services to the needy people from 9:00 am to 12: pm every day. The newly-launched facility is the fourth of its kind in Myeik Township.

At the event, Minister for the region Planning and Finance Daw Yi Yi Cho and Minister for Immigration and Human Resources U Kyaw Min cut a ribbon to formally open the clinic. Afterwards, Pyae phyo Tun Company donated K 3.0 million and 5000 masks to the clinic. The donations were accepted by chairman of the township COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment Committee.—Khine Htoo, Myeik IPRD
