With the aim of preventing cervical cancer, Human Papilloma Virus HPV vaccination campaign was conducted at the Department of Public Health, in the town of Ahmar, Pyapon District, Ayeyawady Region yesterday morning.
Girls between 9 and 10 years old in the town of Ahmar were injected with the vaccine starting from November 27. All the girls aged between 9 and 10 years old will be vaccinated two times with a spacing of 12 months, according to the Department of Public Health in the town of Ahmar.
