Mongyai, 22 November
A ceremony to mark International Children’s Rights was held at Yadana hall in Basic Education High School in the town of Mongyai, Mongyai township, Shan state this morning.
First, senior nurse Nan Kham Khin made an opening speech, followed by the presentation about children’s rights by the school principal Nan Khin Hmwe. Then, senior project officer Dr. Ei Tinza Haing explained the works being carried out by Save the Children organization to the attendees. Then, schoolchildren performed songs and competed in games.
