Mass vaccination campaign conducted in Hlaigbwe Twsp.

Medical workers from the Township Department of Health under Ministry of Health conducted a mass immunization campaign at the office of the Township Department of Health in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State this morning.

 

On the occasion, all the infants below one and a half years old and pregnant women were dosed and vaccinated against diphtheria, whooping cough, measles, hepatitis B, encephalitis and polio at the designated vaccination site in the Township.

 

At the event, medical workers also shared knowledge about the dangers of disease such as diphtheria, whooping cough, measles, hepatitis B, encephalitis and polio to local people.—Saw Di(IPRD)
