MNL U-21: Shan United beat Yangon United 2-0

Shan United U-21 FC beat Yangon United U-21 FC by 2-0 in a Week-11 match of U-21 Myanmar National League 2020, played at the Yangon United Sports Complex yesterday.

 

Both teams played with energy from the start. Shan United had prepared well for yesterday’s match, exhibiting flawless attack and good tackling.

 

The winning goals for Shan United were scored by Shan United youth players Nyi Nyi and Thurein Tun.

 

Shan United dominated the first half with stable and accurate passes.

 

Shan United got the first goal even at three minute and the goal was scored by youth player Nyi Nyi.

 

After 1-0, Yangon United tried for their equalizer but Yangon United attacker could not pass the massive Shan United defence line.

 

The first half was ended with a goal led by Shan United.

 

The second half saw better play of Yangon United but they could not convert scoring opportunities to goals.

 

Shan United got second goal by a penalty shoot at 79 minute and the penalty was successful kicked by Threin Tun.

 

After the second goal, Shan United took care of their middle and defence line till the final whistle to celebrate their solid win.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
