Sagaing 12 July
During the outbreak of COVID-19, pagodas and religious buildings in Sagaing Region were temporarily closed starting from March and now the pagodas in the region will be reopened.
Under the arrangement of pagoda board of trustees and respective Presiding Sayadaws, local pilgrims are allowed to visit Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda located in Sagaing Hill starting on 12 July in line with the COVID-19 restrictions.
In addition, arrangements are being made to reopen the pagodas and religious buildings in the region under the guidance of Ministry of Health and Sports.
