Phone Myint Kyaw stands atop at Chinese 8 Ball tourney

Myanmar's pool star Phone Myint Kyaw (alias) Ko Ar Ti is currently standing at the first position of the 8 Ball Chinese Pool Super Match 2020 Tournament, which is being held in Chao Yang, China.


Phone Myint Kyaw has already played seventh matches in the tourney, won six matches, and faced one loss.


A loss match against Chu Bin Jie on Sunday night could not make the ranking of Myanmar's player falling down to the second place.


With a tremendous number of fans supporting him, Phone Myint Kyaw got 2,300 points, the points which are for fans surrounding him and currently he is garnering 40,300 points, according to the tourney's organizers.


Following Phone Myint Kyaw, Yu Hai Tao is at the second place with 36,100 points and Chu Bing Jie in the third position with 29,600 points.


Next, Yang Fan is in the fourth place with 26,000 points and Liu Hai Tao in fifth place with the same point but with differences in sub-matches won in their previous matches.


Top three players including Phone Myint Kyaw will directly advance to the second round of semifinals while fourth and fifth positioned players will fight for a play-off for their hope of semifinals.
