Yekyi, November 23
A mass cleanup activity and preparations of the school facilities were carried out in Yekyi Township, Ayeyawady Region on November 22.
The school structure will be used as a quarantine center for the people who had close contact with the coronavirus-positive patients. The school facility from BEHS 2 would be diverted into a facility quarantine center for the suspected virus patients in an attempt to control the spread of deadly virus in the township.
Local officials led by Township Administrator U Min Khaing Win in cooperation with Fire Services Department, and Myanmar Police Force cleaned up toilets, bathrooms and made accommodation for the suspected virus patients.
