Three family members went missing after a home washed away by floodwaters from the Sittoung River following the heavy rains in Kyaikto Township, Mon State on September 20.
A home was washed away by the rising level of Sittoung River and three people went missing when a 37-year old man named U Lin Lin from Sittoung River was fishing at about 7:30 a.m. on September 20. A local rescue team consisting of policemen and firefighters are carrying out the search operation for the missing people.
