A two-storey structure is under construction by a local private company in the compound of a high school (branch) in Khamti Township, Sagaing Region.
The school facility is being built with nearly Ks. 140 million allotted by the Department of Education in the fiscal year 2019-2020. Township Administrator U Hla Myint together with ward administrators, departmental officials, and town elders looked into progress for construction of the school facility yesterday evening.
The new school building is expected to finalize in mid-July, according to the school board of trustees.—Sanay Maung Maung (Khamti)
