Okpho, 11 January
Chief Minister of Bago Region U Win Thein together with local lawmakers, Deputy Commissioner U Soe Shwe Aung, and Township Administrator U Kyaw Zin Oo donated medical equipment to a public hospital in Okpho Township on January 10.
The chief minister and party were clarified about treatment of covid-19 patients at the hospital by medical superintendent Dr Thant Zaw Maung. The chief minister and his entourage then contributed PPE suits, hand gels and masks and 500,000 kyats to the hospital through the medical superintendent and township administrator.
They also inspected a site chosen for construction of offices for the Department of Rural Development and Union Election Commission.
