Construction of Shwekyin Creek Bridge on Taungoo-Kyaukgyi-Shwekyin-Winkan Road that connects Bago Region with Mon State, Kyain State and Taninthayi Region has been completed by 100 percent.
The bridge which is 1680 ft in length and 30 ft in width was built with K 6400 million allotted by the funds of Union Government. The construction was conducted by Bridge Special Team-9 starting from the first week of April in 2017.
Now, traffic has been allowed to cross the bridge, according to an official from the Bridge Special Team-9.
