A fire drill, jointly organized by the township Fire Services Department and Development Affairs Committee, was conducted in conjunction with a knowledge sharing event about the risks of fire at the compound of Myoma Market in the town of Thazi, Meiktila District, Mandalay Region this morning.
Firstly, commander of the township Fire Services Department Tun Tun Win clarified the purpose of the drill and disseminated knowledge about the risks of fire. Afterwards, firefighters orchestrated how to use fire extinguishers and fire engines when a fire breaks out in the area. Next, local people at the market practically extinguished fire using a fire extinguisher.
Also present on the occasion were deputy Administrator of the township General Administration Department U Ye Su Paing, The township Police Chief Major Zaw Win, officials from the township Fire Services Department and the township Development Affairs Committee.
