Hantharwady United FC which is making preparations for the next football season has completed the signing of former Southern Myanmar FC striker Aung Myat Thu on an undisclosed fee.
Aung Myat Thu started his professional career in Kanbawza FC youth team in 2013 and spent two years in Nay Pyi Taw FC and Chin United. He scored 14 goals for Chin United in Myanmar National League-2 and was crowned the champion with the club. He also scored five goals for Southern Myanmar FC in MNL season 2019-2020.
Bago-based football club have already agreed to sign goalkeeper Pyae Phyo Aung, defenders Win Moe Kyaw and Ye Yint Aung and midfielder Nay Moe Naing.
