New School facility handed over in Myingyan Tsp.

A ceremony to hand over a new school building to Ministry of Education was held at the compound of post-B.E.P.S in Lethit Village, Mingyan Township, Mandalay Region this morning.

At the event, Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Sein Myint, the region Hluttaw Representatve U Chan Myet, officials from the district General Administration Department, the district Education officer’s Office, Lethit B.E.P.S and donor Daw Than Yi cut a ribbon to formally open the new school building.

Afterwards, the region Hluttaw Representative U Khin Maung Aye and the District Administrator U Tint Hlaing delivered speeches and an official from the District Education officer’s Office clarified matters relating to education.

Next, donors U Toe and Daw Than Yi explained about the donation of new school building and handed over  related documents to U Khin Maung Than, staff officer of the Township Education officer’s Office. Then, Headmaster of Lethit B.E.P.S U Myint Than spoke words of thanks.

The new school building measuring 100 feet in length and 30 feet in height was built by spending K 80.00 million, it is learnt.—U Zaw Min Naing (Myingyan)
