Nine schools in Ngaphe Township, Magway Region were upgraded by the Department of Basic Education under the Ministry of Education in the academic year 2019-2020.
Myay Latt kindergarten which was established on a self-reliant basis was upgraded to a primary school (branch) while two primary schools (branch) were promoted to primary schools. In addition, two primary schools became post primary schools, and two post primary schools were upgraded to middle schools (branch).
Moreover, one middle school (branch) was promoted to a middle school and a high school (branch) was upgraded to a high school.
