SAM, Canon donate PPE suits to Ayeyarwady COVID-19 Centre

Singapore Association of Myanmar & Canon (Myanmar Golden Rock) donated COVID-19 medical devices worth of K10 million to Ayeyawady COVID-19 Treatment Centre yesterday morning.

 

The donation included 1,500 PPE Level-3, 650 KN95 masks, 700 3M N95 masks, 200 gloves and 200 shoe covers. Chairman of the Ayeyarwady Foundation U Zaw Zaw accepted the donation and returned the certificate of honour.

 

The Ayeyarwady Foundation has set up Ayeyarwady COVID-19 treatment centres in Yangon and Mandalay to treat COVID-19 infected people with the provision of food, shelter and other daily necessities while the Ministry of Health and Sports provides healthcare. The centres provides treatment for nearly 1,400 people, including emergency care centres, as well as the Test & Care Ayeyarwady Centre, which can diagnose patients.—Ye Yint Shine
