Cash assistance was provided to elderly people between 80 and 85 years old in the town of Mongsat, Shan State (East) yesterday.
The government is providing cash assistance to the elderly at a rate of K 30,000 per person under the COVID-19 Economic Relief Plan. Officials from District Department of Social Welfare made a domiciliary visit to provide cash aids to nine elderly people in Weinnay Ward.
According to survey in July, there are 73 elderly people between 80 and 85 years old in the town of Mongsat and other elderly people will be provided with cash aids.
