No immediate reports of damages or casualties were available following a slight earthquake which was recorded at 10:01 a.m. today, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology announced.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 on the Richter Scale, with its epicenter inside Myanmar jolted about 3 miles west-southwest of Ottarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council, at a latitude 19.82°N, and longitude 96.14°E, with depth 10 kilometers and about 3 miles north of the Nay Pyi Taw seismological observatory, the DMH said.—DMH
