YUFC signs Ayeyawady United defender Zaw Win

Yangon United recently signed Ayeyawady United defender Zaw Win with a two-year contract, according to the team statement.


The 26-year-old defender assisted Ayeyawady United Football Club in securing third place position and has become one of the most favourite players of the Ayeyawady United football fans. Upon joining the Yangon United, Zaw Win has expressed his cheerful words.


“I’m happy to return to my home club, and I was overwhelmed. I want to say to the fans that I will put double effort on the team and try my best,” Zaw Win said. The young defender started his professional career in Yangon United Youth Team in 2010.


After two years, he was selected for the Yangon United Senior Team and assisted the team in winning Myanmar National League Championship trophies. He stayed at the Yangon United till 2015. Next, he moved to Chin United in 2016 and he played for the team for one season.


Then he transferred to Rakhine United in 2017 for two years and arrived at the Ayeyawady United for 2020 Myanmar National League season.


The defender also participated in both Myanmar National youth teams and the senior team in the previous years.
