The opening ceremony of a new school facility donated by Min Tun Wun Foundation took place in Kanwaine Village, Kungyangon Township in Yangon Region yesterday morning.
The school structure was opened by former President U Htin Kyaw and wife Daw Su Su Lwin, Regional Lawmaker U Aung Min Min, Deputy Director of the Department of Education U Soe Thaik and Secretary of Min Tun Wun Foundation U AUng Kyaw Soe. The ex-president explained the purpose of donation. Next, headmistress Daw Aye Aye Thaik presented certificate of honour to the ex-president and spouse. Afterwards, the vice-chairman of the foundation U Myo Myint Aung handed over documents relating to the school structure to the deputy director of the Department of Education.
The structure measuring 30 ft. in width, 60 ft. in length was built at a cost of Ks. 25 million by Ex-President U Htin Kyaw and wife Daw Su Su Lwin representing Min Tun Wun Foundation.
