With the aim of distributing drinking water in rural areas, water supply projects are being undertaken in Kyukaw village in the town of Monghta in Mongsat District, Shan State (East). Now, it has been completed by hundred percent, according to a Town Administrator.
The construction of a water tanker capable of storing 5000 gallons of water and digging 40 ft deep tube wells were conducted with K 10 million funded by VDP and 0.7 million contributed by local people. Upon completion, local residents will be available enough water in all seasons.
