MFF vice-president donates K10 million to Ayeyarwady Centre

MYANMAR Football Federation vice-president U Pye Phyo Tay Za and family donated K10 million to the Ayeyarwady Centre for combatting COVID-19 pandemic across the country, stated the announcement by Myanmar National League and Ayeyarwady Foundation on their official social media pages this week.

 

Myanmar Football Federation U Zaw Zaw who is also a chairperson of the Ayeyarwady Foundation presented the certificate of honour to the MFF vice president and family.

 

Officials of the centre have also expressed their deep gratitude to the MFF vice-president U Pye Phyo Tay Za and his family for their donations, according to the Ayeyarwady Foundation.

 

The Ayeyarwady centre, located on the Thuwunna Youth training ground, has been giving health service for the public since 19 September 2020. There are currently 250 ICU/HDU beds in the centre and also planning to have more and more essential equipment in the centre.

 

The centre is running smoothly by the direct support of the Ayeyarwady Foundation Chairman U Zaw Zaw, with the fund USD7 million and additional funds from the donors across Myanmar. —Lynn Thit (Tgi)
