Village development projects are being undertaken in five villages in Thayatchaung Township, Dawei District, Taninthayi Region. The Township Department of Rural Development implemented rural development projects with K 10 million each funded by VDP starting from the first week of May. Now, all have been completed by hundred percent, according to the Township Department of Rural Development.
During 2020-2021 FY, construction of rural roads and concrete roads were built with funds of VDP and technical aids by the Department of Rural Development. In Thayatchaung Township, village development projects were implemented starting from 2017-2018 FY and a total of 76 projects have been conducted in 76 villages until 2020-2021 FY.
