The Township Forest Department in Mawlamyinekyun Township, Ayeyarwady Region organized a Rainy Season Tree Planting Ceremony in Hnge U Kwin Village to promote a greener environment and reduce regional temperatures.

The event was led by the Township Management and Administration Committee Chairman and attended by 250 participants, including township officials, departmental staff, community organizations, teachers, students, and local residents.

A total of 500 saplings—including mango, mahogany, teak, pyinkadoe, kantkaw, khayee, and myaukngo trees—were planted during the ceremony. Ye Ko Maung (IPRD)
