A ceremony to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Myeik University was held at the lawns of the main building yesterday.
At the occasion, Medical Superintendent of Myeik Traditional Medicine Hospital U Kyaw Soe Win, Rector of Myeik University Dr. Ni Ni Oo and Pro-rector Dr. Win Win Than opened the ceremony and observed food stalls and other booths displayed by students of different majors.
Afterwards, Myeik University Rector Dr. Ni Ni Oo, Taninthayi Region minister for planning and finance U Phyo Win Tun, MP U Soe Htay Paing of Amyotha Hluttaw led a discussion to exchange experiences and views of exceptional students conducted at the convocation hall. In addition, exceptional students shared their experiences.
