AFC Vice-President U Zaw Zaw attends CSR visual meeting

U Zaw Zaw, Vice-President of the Asian Football Confederation and President of the Myanmar Football Federation attended a videoconference of the AFC Social Responsibility Committee (CSR) on 12 November, according to the yesterday’s statement of the MFF.


Being a chairperson of the AFC’s Social Responsibility Committee, the AFC Vice-President U Zaw Zaw discussed budget approval and general social responsibility issues along with other AFC authorities.


U Zaw Zaw also led discussions on the Covid-19 prevention and treatment programme of Asia in Laos, Jordan, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Lebanon, Mongolia, Northern Mariana Islands, Oman, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Syria, UAE, Uzbekistan, Yemen, and Kyrgyzstan.


The AFC authorities also discussed the provision of assistance for Covid-19 preventive care in Myanmar, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Chinese (Taipei), Indonesia, Guam, and Malaysia.


In addition, the CSR online meeting also focused on helping the flood victims in Viet Nam, to support the Paralympic Games to be held in Malaysia and to make special schedule for committee’s social assistance activities in the coming years.
