Officials from the Department of Agriculture in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State demonstrated the cultivation of straw-mushroom to local residents in villages in Hlaingbwe Township yesterday.
The officials led practical session on how to prepare soil for growing straw-mushroom, demonstrating a variety of techniques with good agriculture patterns.
Cultivation of straw-mushroom has become popular in Myanmar, and the Department of Agriculture is planning to cultivate straw-mushroom on a commercial-scale.
