Awareness discussion on Inclusive Access to Quality Education-IAQE program which is jointly conducted by the Ministry of Education and the World Bank was held at the office of the State Education Department this morning.
First the state social affairs minister gave an opening remark. In his remarks, he said the Ministry of Education is striving to expedite the development of education sector and was drawing the National Education Strategic Plan (NESP) with nine factors which is a five-year term from 2016-2017 to 2020-2021 academic year.
In addition, the World Bank in cooperation with the Ministry of Education is allocating funds for schools, providing scholarships to needy students and other projects.
It was graced by Chin State Minister for Social Affairs U Pau Lun Min Thang, MPs of Hluttaw, state education officer and those from the state education department, education specialist Daw Mar Mar Thwin from the World Bank and departmental personnel.
