The opening ceremony of basic agricultural course organized by Rural Development Department was held at the meeting hall of Ye-U Township General Administration Department in Shwebo District, Sagaing Region yesterday morning with the introductory speeches by MPs Dr. Min Thein and U Myint Htwe.
Head of District Rural Development Department U Myint clarified the aim of the course to the local residents at the ceremony.
The event was attended by Chairman of Ye-U Township Management Committee U Khin Maung Myint, Secretary U Zaw Min Oo, the Deputy Head of Information and Public Relations Department, Staff Officer of Planning Department Daw Myat Thuzar Tun, course instructors from Agriculture Department and Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department and 25 attendees from 12 villages.
The one week-course contains agricultural methods and livestock breeding including making and using of natural fertilizers, pesticides, growing of sesame, sun flower, mushroom. –Than Than (IPRD)
