Well-wishers provided cash aid to fire victims in Sinkukyi Village in Ngapudaw Towship, Pathein District, Ayeyarwady Region yesterday evening.
A Sayadaw and members from Lamintaya charitable group in Pathein went to Sinkukyi Village and provided a total of K 2.4 million to fire victims.
Under this cash aid program, fire victims from 24 families in the village received K 100000 each. Fire broke out on 6 December in Sinku Village and destroyed 24 houses. But no casualties were reported.
