Officials from the township Department of Disaster Management provide cash assistance to flood victims whose homes became relocated due to riverbank erosion in Yae-kyi Township, Pathein District, Ayeyarwady Region this afternoon.
Officials provided a total of K 347000 for purchasing rice and construction materials to victims of riverbank erosion in Bayagonpaing Village in the township on a door to door basis.
Seven family members from three households in the Village were evacuated to safer places as a result of riverbank erosion on 20 - 21 November.—San Tint(Yae-kyi)
