According to the COVID-19 Economic Relief Plan, the Department of Social Welfare provided cash assistance to persons with disabilities in Kyaikto Township, Mon State via respective Ward and Village Administrators starting from 6 October.
The respective Ward and Village Administrators made a domiciliary visit to provide cash assistance to the disabled people and spoke words of encouragement to them.
In the township, there are a total of 1784 disabled people and they were provided with cash assistance at a rate of K 30,000.
