Chishar Temple Sayadaw’s donations aid reconstruction after Mocha storm damage

Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Lwin Oo handed over the donation made by Chishar temple Sayadaw Venerable Qianze from Guilin of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China for the reconstruction of reli­gious buildings damaged by the Mocha storm in Myanmar to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture at the Min­istry building in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

 

 

The deputy minister first explained the donation of 12,000 yuan by the Sayad­aw Ven Qianze for the recon­struction of religious buildings. Next, Union Minister for Re­ligious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin explained the re­construction of religious build­ings damaged by the Mocha storm and the process of the donation through the ministry and expressed thanks to the Chishar temple Sayadaw Ven Qianze for the donation.

 

The deputy minister then handed over the donation of 12,000 yuan to the Union minis­ter on behalf of the well-wisher Sayadaw Ven Qianze. — MNA/ KZL
