With the joint cooperation of Thayet Information and Public Relations Department and the Township Education Department, civics talks were conducted at the Community Center yesterday.
Altogether 70 people including chairman and members of Book Club and Women Club, teachers and students from the Basic Education High School were in attendance.
An official from the IPRD clarified the purpose of the talks and rules and regulations and ethics that must be followed by society. In addition, head of the No-3 Basic Education High School U Aung Saw Oo discussed the topic “Youth and Civics”.
Afterwards, an executive of the township development committee U Thein Naing discussed the procedures of the committee and Secretary of Book Club U Aung Myint also talked youth and culture.
Dentist Dr. Soe Lin Naing also shared about rights and responsibilities of a citizen, followed by a question-and-answer session.
