A coordination meeting on tourism expo and food show was held at Gold Leaf Hotel in Mandalay yesterday.
With the aim of promoting tourism industry, enjoying Myanmar’s traditional food and culture, the tourism expo and food show will be held from 16 to 19 February during the 60th anniversary of Maha Myat Muni Pagoda’s Festival.
At the meeting, the attendees made discussions for holding sticky rice cooking competitions to attract foreign travelers and to put on display tourism booths.
Present on the occasion were officials from the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism, members of Myanmar Restaurants Association, owners of souvenir shops, people in the field of tourism industry.
