Ten COVID-19 positive patients who are receiving medical treatment at the 500-Bed People’s Hospital in Sittway were discharged from the hospital yesterday afternoon.
They were sent back to their home to put themselves under quarantine at home and they were urged to abide by the instructions guided by the Ministry of Health and Sports.
There are 921 virus-positive patients who were discharged from the hospital starting from 5 September to until now. A total of 161 positive patients are still receiving medical treatment at the hospital, according to the Medical Superintendent of the hospital.
