With a view to ensuring the safety of school children, U Zaw Moe Aye, engineer-in-charge and staff from Minbu Township Electricity Transmission Enterprise gave talks on the dangers of electricity at the Basic Education Middle School of Letkhot-Pin village in the town of Sagu, Minbu Township, Magway Region this morning.
U Zaw Moe Aye in his talks urged the school children to avoid playing near and around electric power lines, to avoid touching electric wires and appliances in electric current with wet hands and to immediately inform the village elders and officials concerned if they found electric power lines falling down on earth.
After the talks, pamphlets were distributed to teachers and school children who were in attendance, totaling 150.— Ye Win Naing ( Nyaung Oo)
