A cash presenting ceremony to the disabled people was held at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Khayan Township, Yangon Region this morning.
At the ceremony, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative Dr. Aye Min delivered an opening address and Township Administrator U Min Hsan Tun explained the purpose of cash donation. The township level officials then presented cash to the people with disabilities. There are 473 disabled people in Khayan Township and they will be provided with monthly cash assistance, according to a source from the township administrator’s office.
Also present on the occasion were regional lawmakers U Hla Toe and U Thein Zaw Latt, departmental staff and ward and village administrators.—Ko Min
