Dozens missing after boat capsizes off  Tunisia

One person has died and 82 others are missing after a boat carrying African migrants capsized in the Mediterranean off the coast of Tunisia on Wednesday.

The Tunisian Red Crescent said the boat left Libya in northern Africa headed for Europe.

The group said four people were rescued from the vessel, but one later died in hospital. Dozens more are feared drowned.

Sources say those rescued were from Mali and Cote d'lvoire in west Africa. This is one of many boats that have capsized carrying migrants to Europe from Africa.

The International Organization for Migration says that 681 people have lost their lives so far in 2019 alone.
